Dans Kitab Al Awthan, Al-Namrood part des excellentes bases de Estorat Taghoot et fait encore mieux en étant plus court pour éviter les égarements et longueurs. Le raw black metal oriental et le son agressif qui va avec reste la substantifique moelle mais on sent que le trio saoudien cherche à être plus professionnel : la différence est visuelle avec une pochette qui met dans l'ambiance mais elle est encore plus sonore avec l'arrivée d'un vrai batteur. Kitab Al Awthan est brûlant et génial !

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music.

Another great album that was released on April 19th. This is far more melodic and epic, sometimes even hymnic. Thanks to the drumming and the deliciously fierce vocals Kydoimos doesn't fall short in aggression. Fantastic mix of pagan and folk elements, too. Kawir are going very strong!

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once.....
